Sexual Harassment Prevention for Supervisors
The learning objectives of the training mandated by California Government Code section 12950.1 shall be: 1) to assist California employers in changing or modifying workplace behaviors that create or contribute to “sexual harassment” as that term is defined in California and federal law; and 2) to develop, foster and encourage a set of values in supervisory employees who complete mandated training that will assist them in preventing and effectively responding to incidents of sexual harassment.
Within the spirit and intent of state and federal laws, Train Me Today offers the following presentation for Leads, Supervisors, Managers and Executives:
Two hours of interactive harassment prevention training as required by law;
- Information and practical guidance regarding federal and state sexual harassment laws, including harassment prevention and correction, and remedies available to victims.
- Interactive training including discussion, video (DVD), PowerPoint and a question and answer session.
Learning Objectives are:
- the effects of unlawful harassment at the workplace;
- understand anti-harassment law;
- learn what harassment is, what sexual harassment is;
- who decides what harassment is;
- who is legally obligated for harassment in the workplace;
- and how to prevent harassment.
Included with the presentation are:
- the California State required pamphlet
- post presentation questionnaire (test),
- acknowledgment form for the employer’s file
- and a certificate of attendance for participants.
